I have never done a juice cleanse before and have always been curious to try it, so when my roommate found a good deal on Groupon for a 3 day juice cleanse I was ready to try it. Normally this 3 day cleanse from Pulp Kitchen would cost $110 but with the Groupon it came down to $55. You are able to pick up your juices each day if you want them to be super fresh but I decided to grab all 3 days at once because of my busy week schedule. The "detox darling" morning drink was really yummy due to the fact that you could only really taste the apple and lemon which I liked a lot. As for the "Green Power" mid-day drink which was not as yummy. It mainly tasted like a mix of cucumber juice and celery. Lastly, the "V-6" evening drink I found was extremely hard to drink. I am personally not a fan of beets and tomato so when I saw the two mixed in this drink I wasn't too thrilled. I managed to drink have the bottle (keep in mind these bottles are very big) and had 1 hard boiled egg at dinner time since I didn't finish it and wanted some protein.
Overall, I am glad I tried out the 3 day juice cleanse but I would probably not do it again anytime soon. It's hard to give up food when it is constantly around you. I found that chewing gum helped curb my appetite but the novelty of that wore off quickly.
